So, I recently bought a large bottle of liquid latex from Amazon. I've been fascinated with special effects makeup lately and wanted to give it a shot myself.
I started out by covering my right cheek and chin in the latex. Once that set up, I began to gently peel it off and make what later looked like dead skin.
Then, taking my large assortment of Avon makeup (which I kinda sell) and proceeded to try to make it look like I had a horrible accident or something. I freely admit, my trauma makeup is NOT very good, however, that coupled with the latex ended up looking pretty good.
I did the same thing with my arm. I tried getting the latex to do a little puckering in places... trying to make it look similar to a burn. (It does not look like a burn)
I'm tentatively doing some Two-Face (Batman) makeup for one of my brother's friends for Salt Lake ComicCon in a couple of weeks. If I do end up doing it, I will take some pics and show y'all!
